[craftcollective] Craft night for Abernethy Craft Bazaar

Hello, collective crafters,
   Thursday November 8 from 6:30 to 9 pm will be a craft gathering at  
my house, specifically for the purpose of making items to donate to  
the Abernethy Craft Bazaar.
   Abernethy is a SE Portland public Elementary school, where Penny  
attends.  The Craft Bazaar is a traditional event held yearly in  
December, designed to provide students with an opportunity to buy low  
cost gifts for their friends and families.  The PTA sponsors the  
event, and ensures that all students are able to participate  
regardless of their financial situation.  Many volunteers from within  
and outside the school community make small craft items to donate to  
the Bazaar, either on their own, or at gatherings held in the months  
before the event.  Thursday is this year's first gathering to prepare  
for the Bazaar.
   Thursday we'll be making fleece scarves, hats, and miniature fairy  
dolls, among other possibilities.  I'll have supplies and  
instructions available.
   Please RSVP if you can, so I will know how much space we need.
