[craftcollective] knit and crochet night, plus gourds

Hi, crafty folk,
   How about a knit and crochet night, Thursday Oct 25, 6:30-9:30 ish  
at my house.
   I have some great new knitting books, including such treasures as  
"Folk Socks: The History and Techniques of Handknitted Footwear,"  
"Selbuvotter: Biography of a Knitting Tradition," and "The Natural  
Knitter."
   I can't keep these to myself, they are meant for sharing.  So if  
you would like to admire the Norwegian mitten patterns of  
Selbuvotter, or are curious about the Balbriggan Heel, or just want  
to bring your current project to work on in company, come on over.   
I'll have tea and something sweet to offer.

   I also have a nice little pile of gourds from Lee Farms, and a  
book about gourd craft.  We could do some gourd carving, if you are  
more interested in that.
