[craftcollective] moccasins

[Val Stricklin]

Hi all,
   I'd like to go ahead and start a moccasin project on Sunday.  I  
look forward to learning more from a mentor in January, but I feel  
enthusiastic about starting now, drawing on what we''ve got available  
already, namely Kiliii's experience, general sewing and beading  
skills of Marya and myself, the uncatalogued talents of the rest of  
you, and at least one good book resource.  I may make a much better  
pair of moccasins in January after learning from Atwice, but I'm  
betting we can come up with something passable in the mean time...and  
Penny's got cold toes now!
   What do the rest of you think?
   Want to go to Oregon Leather Co together on Saturday?  I probably  
won't get a chance to go before then.
