Hi, everybody,
I haven't heard from this list in a while, and there wasn't much in the
archives either. How's everyone doing?

Want to come over and try making paper lace at our house? We have a nice
fireside setting so you could also bring knitting or whatever. We might try
to feed you chocolate or offer you books.
Why paper lace? My grandmother used to make paper dolls with matching
dresses for her friends. My mother taught me to fold and cut snowflakes.
Now I'm getting into 3-D paper art and mobiles, and trying to create a
publishable book on how-to plus examples. It's fun to make fancy Valentine
decorations this way, too.
Anybody interested? We have time available Feb. 2-6, evenings for choice.

Other than that, Ernie and I are going pretty full-out to get our workshop
schedule up and running. We're signed up to teach a bunch of workshops with
TrackersNW in February, plus some other local events.

Topics include: Knotwork, leathercraft, natural building (rocket stove, and
earthen floor), fire science and camping DIY, culinary art (chocolate
truffles), and skill-builders like Fire Science, "Dirty Secrets," and Seeds
and Spores. The adult-targeted workshops are mostly on Sundays,
youth-targeted ones on Saturdays and Tuesdays (for homeschoolers).

For times, please help me test out our new online calendar:
http://calendar.ErnieAndErica.info/
If that doesn't work, you can look for many of them on trackersnw.com.
I'll also be posting them to another crafty calendar:

and you can find sample pages at www.ernieanderica.info
Love,

Erica Ritter
